Wow, that song is bonkers! Love it. I'll check out the previous album (not heard of it). Just wondering - what ways do you use to unearth new music, particularly for the films/series you make? I been signing up to small record labels newsletters and taking chances on new vinyl that way. Also, watching random record store owners' youtube channels where they do 'latest haul' vids after they buy people's entire collections. Super nerdy, but one particular dude has tuned me into a lot of prog rock that way... :)
EDITED TO ADD: "Always Trying to Work it Out" I know that song! And I've picked up Double Negative before because of the cover, lol. Didn't know what it was. Now I'm listening and want it, but I'm taking a chance on the new new and pre-ordering their new album first. :)
I think Double Negative is in my Top 10 of all time which is a huge call. But I just love everything about that album.
I like you have a thirst for new music that can never be quenched. I'm always searching, listening. I hear random songs out in the world and use Shazam to id the track. That has sent me down so many rabbit holes (most recently The Acid, which was a random Shazam in a random cafe). I also use Spotify a lot and find the 'RELEASE RADAR' p[playlists and the recommendations it produces really spot on for what I'm looking for and again it send me down rabbit holes.
