But first, here is a dramatic reading of Monday’s post, “Find Your Riff via a Whole Lotta Raff” 👇
Notes from the Captain
What’s your favorite riff?
That’s not really a note—I’m just curious.
I first thought of Smoke on the Water when beginning to concept this piece. It’s the first thing you learn on the guitar—I still remember doing it in 8th grade in music class. Then I went for a couple of different Led Zeps. Heartbreaker hit my thoughts before Whole Lotta Love, but they have so many to choose from.
Riff on and raff out 🤘

(I didn’t mention I’d made one, but I did. And here it is.)
👩✈️ Rumpshaker.

That’s all for this issue. Short and sweet.
Love what you love, and if it happens to be Rumpshaker, well. Okay. That happened.
